Notes and questions for Laurie
Comments on the website

Laurie cannot answer email sent to this site. There are not enough hours in the day.

However, she reads everything that comes in. Occasionally (when not on deadline) she will post answers to readers' questions in her Journal or on the FAQ. She will only use the first name of the person who wrote the question, in the interests of preserving privacy. If you don't want your name used at all, make sure you write that in your email.

Note to teachers and students - Laurie will not do your homework. Sorry. She has done enough homework in her life. One of the advantages of being middle-aged is No Homework. Old people like Laurie have to pay taxes. That's bad enough.

Email: Comments and Questions

If you want to write to her the old-fashioned way, please use this address. NOTE - This is a new address!:

Laurie Halse Anderson
P.O. Box 906
Mexico, NY 13114

Be patient! Laurie gets a lot of mail and it piles up when she is on the road.

She asks that teachers who are sending many letters at once tell their students that Laurie will be writing one letter to the entire class. When the mail gets very heavy, she sometimes has to respond with a form letter. This is an ugly fact of life.

She begs forgiveness and hopes readers understand. If she didn't do this, she'd never have time to write another book. And that would stink.

If you come across a broken or inappropriate link, please let Writerlady know. Thanks.
